This addition of Tightwire comes during 500th anniversary of the day Columbus discovered America. Because of this it is full of the struggles of Aboriginal people with discrimination within North American society and environmental issues facing Aboriginal communities. This addition also contains an outline of the C-36 bill for the proposed correction and conditional release act. As well, it being close to the holiday season, this article contains poetry describing love and romance and descriptions of family.
