SUMMARY: This issue begins with a reflection on Remembrance Day, and then the phenomenon neighbouring is discussed. The 2019 federal election platforms omitted any promise of criminal justice reform, so the prisoners create a “wish list of justice action,” which includes increased legal aid funding, decriminalization of drugs, increased use of pardons and eliminating minimum sentences. The M2W2 program is profiled and information about a writing contest – with a bursary specific to prisoners — is included. Lastly, an article examines the power of kindness.
