This issue highlights the various community in-reach activities of Collin’s Bay Penitentiary, including the request to hold a blood donor clinic at the prison, the prisoners’ participation in the Easter Seals campaign, and the services of Operation Springboard.  Of special interest are two historical pieces: the first is an excerpt from the Kingston Penitentiary warden’s diary dated 1859, and the second is an article from the Kingston Penitentiary newspaper dated 1956.
