This issue features two articles on employment after prison with a focus on the employers and the reasons for hiring ex-convicts.  Also of interest is a piece on youthful offenders gaining criminal knowledge in the “University of Crime” that is prison.  Articles on the geography of Canada and its impact on the penal system, and the consequences of the media’s coverage of court proceedings are also discussed in this issue.
