This issue of Out of Bounds includes writing by prisoners about their experiences with psychiatry, trauma, and memory. The issue talks about being medicated after speaking up about childhood abuse, showing how the system often treats emotional pain as illness. This issue further includes poems about manipulation, and stories about reconnecting with Indigenous roots and past choices. Lastly, the issue features a report on harmful CIA experiments conducted on psychiatric patients in Montreal.
