This edition focuses heavily on the experience of Indigenous peoples and prisoners in Canada. Their relationship with the state, white settlers, discrimination, erasure of their culture, and the democratic system are noted. Raises questions of what place Indigenous people have in a society that has denied them their treat rights, and the role of education in the advancement of Indigenous peoples’ fight against oppression. Also present is calls to join discussion groups and meetings provided through the Indian Educational Club (publisher), poetry, and letters to the editor.
