This issue contains an essay from the editorial that examines society’s view of crime, where incarcerated people are often viewed as immoral individuals. It also examines a Swedish prison experiment in which incarcerated men were allowed to visit their families and wives in a semi-supervised setting as a reward system to encourage good behaviour. The issue also contains an inmate’s experience with AA and how it improved his outlook on myself and others. The issue includes several caricatures, one of which exaggerates rehabilitative practices in Swedish prisons, as well as news about the Chilliwack Forest soccer team.
