This Penal Press publication focuses on rehabilitation and reformation and how the prisoners know best when it comes to creating new ideas around how to ensure inmates properly integrate back into society. It is emphasized that law enforcement is aware that the current circumstances require change to yield desirable outcomes when it comes to better mental health supports, and other rehabilitative programs within prison, however, they are unaware of how to proceed in the right direction.
