This Issue of Transition, published in March of 1958 is a pris oner-written newsletter containing a variety of topics, notably harm reduction recommendations for narcotic addiction, unemployment insurance for newly released prisoners, updates on recent boxing and soccer match results, as well as a review of a recent concert performed by the B.C. Telephone Mixed Choir. It also contains two short stories of release and recidivism, and a column of prisoners explaining why or why not they will keep their past of conviction a secret upon release.
