SUMMARY: This issue examines the illogical aspects of parole, what it truly means to belong in a society, and how eyewitness testimonies are often unreliable. There are arguments for penal reform, rehabilitation over imprisonment for drug addicts, and legalizing drugs to help curb addiction. This issue lists suggestions for the Canadian government in regard to prison labour and discusses post-carceral issues that prisoners face when job seeking. Lastly, concepts such as equality under the law, the influence of parenting style are analyzed, and the connection between the criminal and society are analyzed.
