This issue opens with a tribute to King George VI who passed away on February 6, 1952.  The editorial calls for widespread reform to the criminal code, the introduction of a parole system, and more equality in sentencing.  Other articles discuss the various medical trials that prisoners participate in, Canadian prison statistics, and the Inmate’s Welfare Fund financial statement.  The final article examines the crime wave occurring in Toronto.
