The Penal Press - A History of Prison from Within

C.B. Diamond – August 1954 - August 1954

Release description:

This very brief issue is an “interim” issue due to the original publication being destroyed in a fire at Kingston Penitentiary where the C.B. Diamond was printed.  The first four pages of the issue deal with what the issue would have contained and the impact on the Diamond’s ability to publish its paper.  The remainder of the issue contains a lengthy editorial on the penal press, a brief paragraph on Socrates, and poetry.
