This issue details the outcomes of the well-known Stanford Prison Experiment led by Phillip Zimbardo, as well as the findings of a study on the factors contributing to prisoner escapes.  There is an interview with the president of the Canada Jaycees unit regarding his recent tour of some of Canada’s federal institutions and an article discussing Solicitor General Warren Allmand’s book The Criminal in Canadian Society: A Perspective of on Corrections.  Also in this issue is information on CONCERN, a group for family members of prisoners.
